Description
This was one of the many bamboos growing in the Mount Cootha Botanical garden in Brisbane Australia. I loved the subtle colours of this variety.

Thank you Mahmoud. I appreciate your comment.These are growing in the Botanical Garden along with many other types. We have a thinner variety growing in our backyard but it wouldn't cooperate and give me an image that wasn't plain messy. Good for fencing and trellises though.

Thank you Ann for you kind comment. I nearly put up a quirky one of this bamboo...it has a fine sort of powdery surface and of course people have to write messages. I did not see them until I had it up on my computer which is true of a lot of details in the shots I take. It is giving me a lot of pleasure.
