Artist's Description
The town planners in their wisdom have designated certain areas of Brisbane as high density housing. Chermide on the north side of Brisbane is one such area or "Hub" as they call it. A forest of high rise apartments are rising about a large shopping centre bus interchange. Gradually the little bungalows with the backyards where kids grew up kicking balls around are disappearing under concrete. I don't know what to feel...I guess the world moves on but is it better. Time will tell I guess.
