Description
I've got one to flower!!!!! Brisbane would be the southernmost part of Australia this is possible as it is a heat and humidity lover coming as it does from the South East Asian jungles. It is an understory plant wanting only 60% sunlight. They get their name from the white "wings" which look like a bat in full flight. It is part of the Tacca family and is a bulb.

Really pleased you enjoy this Nancy. I was so excited when it bloomed, I got a bit deflated when my enthusiasm wasn't shared.
