Description
The Waratah which is native to South Eastern Australia is the State Floral Emblem of New South Wales. I found this one growing on Mt.Tamborine in South East Queensaldn where it most probably survived because of the higher cooler altitude. It is th genus Telopea speciossisima and is a member of the Protoeaceae family of plants.
Twenty Percent of all sales will be donated to either Rainforest Rescue or Bush Heritage..both of which organisation do valuable work.
