Description
This old wood stove at the Samford Museum, South East Queensland Australia is in a small portable wooden hut used by road builders in the early of last century. Note how the stove alcove is corrugated iron to prevent fire. This actually brings back many memories of wonderful roast lamb dinners at my grandmothers farm. The smells and aromas remain unmatched. She thought she was in utopia when she moved to the coast and had an electric cooker and discovered packet mixes. We didn'tLOL...and yes tea towels hung to dry just like this and there was always a kettle for hot water.
Twenty percent of all sales will be donated to either Bush Heritage or Rainforest Rescue.
