Description
These flower up the hill from where I live for a few short days and to me are one of the first signs of spring. The yellow Tabebuia is a native of Tropical and Subtropical regions in the Americas from Mexico and the Caribbean to Argentina. Most of the species are from Cuba to Hispaniola. It is a genus of flowering plants in the family Bignoniacae and consist almost entirely of trees, but a few are often large shrubs, A few species produce timber, the genus is mostly known for those that are cultivated as flowering tree

Thank you Pamela. If I remember correctly, it was hot even though it was just spring and I had to climb up quite a hill to get it. I appreciate your comment.

These are beautiful! I've never seen them before. What a gorgeous color.
Denise Clark replied:
Thanks for commenting Tambra. Their flowering season is short lived and coincide with the blue skies of our dry spring.
