Description
The patterns and bright red layer on this piece of slate by husband has put aside for his bonsai caught my eye. I wet it thoroughly so the colours would show. To me (I am not a geologist) but it looks like iron has seeped in between the layers of slate and been exposed when it was split.
Twenty percent of all sales will be donated to either Bush Heritage or Rainforest Rescue.

Lovely work, Denise. It looks like such an abstract painting, especially the bottom quarter...I see water and falls and cliffs...fabulous imagery throughout!! F/L++

Your comment made me look at the bottom half more closely.You are right...it is interesting- I get distracted with there is a bright element to play with so perhaps I could have another go at doing just that section.....I have two more in this series so far but cannot upload anything at the moment.
