Third time trying to put a comment on this great image Denise. I like the framing that draws me into the creepy darkness. Works well with the splash of red. Wendy

Thank you Wendy...I don't know what is happening but I did receive and appreciate the first one... really pleased you like it.

Not a wasted journey Denise. I like the textures and the splash of colour...as you say it does look a bit sinister though! Wendy

Denise Clark replied:

Thanks so much Wendy. Shadows like these remind me of waking in the night and seeing the shadow of the dressing gown hanging behind the door and not being quite sure if that is all it is and lying ultra still pretending to be asleep LOL Really appreciate your support

Artist's Description

A while ago, I took a photo you will see in my portfolio already which I titled Shadow Mesh. Recently I needed a different size and could not crop it effectively so went back to retake the shot. I stood there looking for the shadow of the mesh...really puzzled it had gone. I then realised the new owners had painted the mesh again and the holes were blocked up with paint...hence no shadow mesh BUT there were new, sinister looking shadows so I took a "different" shot.
