Buckinghamia commonly known as Ivory Curl Tree in a genus of only two known species of trees, belonging to the plant family Proteaceae. They grow in the rainforests of the wet tropics region of North Eastern Queensland. This one is the B.Celsissima and is popular as a street tree in Brisbane. This was taken across the road from us.
