Description
It has been drizzling on and off all day. Wally has decided to remain indoors and watch for the sun. Our house is a typical Queensland home, perched on the side of a hill with the front perched on high stumps and views to the distant city. I always wanted a tree house and enjoy being level with the tops of trees looking down. The window is enclosed by flyscreen recently replaced because Wally had torn it apart to get after the possums which cross the electric cables you can see top right as a highway across the road. We have invested in a heavy duty "pet proof" screen...we'll see. The magic thing is the screen makes the world outside seem like a tapestry in the photo.

Wonderful capture. Love the color contrast
Denise Clark replied:
Thank you so much Sharon. Wally has not attempted to get out of the window since we replace the ordinary fly screen with pet proof screen..how does he know? Really appreciate your support.

This is so appealing Denise. The silhouette of Wally against the colourful trees is great....what a wonderful view to have (not sure about the possums though!!) Wendy
Denise Clark replied:
Thanks so much Wendy. I always wanted to live in a tree house but we made do with a little cottage on stilts in surburbia but we planted lots of trees and there were a few already here and forty years on I am living in a tree house LOL Really appreciate your support.

Does indeed look like a beautiful tapestry outside the window Denise. Wally ever get back to possum casing, or did pet proofing save the day?? L/F
Denise Clark replied:
Not so keen on possums since he had a close encounter of the violent kind with a possum under our house...possum won and we had a trip to the vet. He is now concentrating on gecko lizards ...the smaller the better....thankfully he comes and gets us if he sees a snake sounding like a fire engine siren. Thanks for your comment Mike...much appreciated.
Denise Clark
He is definitely boss around here...glad you like this shot and appreciate the comment.

I'm pleased you like it Tambra. Our house is on stilts on the side of a hill so we are pretty far up. The crepe myrtles were here when we come here in 1976 and we have to chop them back every so often. Then they throw a fit and sucker everywhere. Thanks for the comment..much appreciated.
Tambra Nicole Kendall
I really like this picture and your crepe myrtle is gorgeous! Ours is the same color but not very tall.
