Yesterday, I was hauling treated pine logs around,turned over this one and saw the beautiful marking flowing from the knot. They were enhanced by the fact it was damp from lying on the ground. I thought it looked like a flower but even if you don't, I thought the lines and subtle colours were beautiful
I was a ceramic artist for twenty five years. However, health issues forced me to retire.
