Description
This is a very useful addition in a subtropical cottage garden when one is dreaming of hollyhocks which are very difficult to grow in that climate. I love their maroon foliage which contrasts well with other greenery and their pretty flowers. It can be eaten, the leaves are very high in B2,A and C. It is an excellent souce of antioxidents and enthocyannins, However, they should not be eaten in large amounts as the leaves do contain oxalic acid. They are a native of Tropical Africa.

What a beautiful flower, the richness of the color , you brought out the detail, it still has a softness as well.
