Description
I am not an orchid expert and most of the orchids growing in my garden are gifts or inherited. This is a close up of damage to a leaf of one of my King Orchids (Australian Native Dendrobium) growing on trees in my back garden. I have thought it was either a virus or fungus but it never seemed to get out of control. Just a leaf here and there and not worth poison chemicals. I was actually hanging our the washing the other morning and saw how like a pen and ink abstract landscape drawing this particular leaf damage was. My latest research seems to suggest it is sun damage but if there are any experts out there who know differently, please contact me. In the meantime, I will just cut them off and destroy them just in case.
